Today, Audiokinectic Inc. - a cross-platform audio solution global provider - confirmed via press release that their latest version of Wwise, called Wwise 2013.1, is now available. This latest update offers new features, new enhancements, and is confirmed to offer support for Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 console, Windows 8, and HDR Audio.
Simon Ashby, Audiokinectic's VP Products stated the following: "This new Wwise release is huge for Audiokinetic and is almost as important as our first release in 2006. Our new feature set is ground-breaking. We are very proud to continue our commitment to game audio innovation and we look forward to hearing new revolutionary sound design from our Wwise user community in new upcoming game titles."

Today, a few people who worked on the latest League of Legends patch, The Freljord, joined the game's senior concept artist Michael Maurino in a Reddit AMA session. Many questions regarding the lore of certain characters and other topics were discussed, thus revealing some pretty interesting details about what may be available in the future. Joined by Devon Giehl, Richard Liu, Ryan Scott, Peet Cooper, Andrei Van Roon, Christina Norman, and Randy Begel, many questions pertaining to the lore were discussed in depth. Here's an example:
