A Pokémon Conquest is at hand!
Releasing in just a few days, the age for Warlords and Pokemon to wage war is upon us and you need to be ready. They say knowledge is power. So, come and make us of the information we have for you.

Pokemon Conquest pushes into the foreign region of Ransei where 17 kingdoms representing different Pokemon types wage war to conquer the land. Players will have the chance to choose out of 36 playable Warlords, each packed with their own storyline. It doesn't end there. Throughout your travels, you may also recruit other Warlords and Warriors to join your party, each of them carrying their team of six Pokemon. The Warlords and Warriors you meet are actually inspired from the Japanese feudal era. Plus, there will be around 200 Pokemon in the game, ranging from the early days of Kanto to the recent Unova region of Pokemon Black & White.

"Pokémon Conquest offers new adventures for fans of any experience level," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "By stepping into the role of a Warlord who must form alliances to unite the region, they can discover a whole new way to enjoy the strategic battles and imaginative storylines that the Pokémon franchise is known for."
Available on all DS handheld systems, players who have a 3DS may also take part in this experience thanks to the backwards capabilities. It look like it ill be quite the experience for this peculiar Pokemon game.
During gameplay, there will also be environmental elements that will affect how a battle unfolds. For example, falling rocks or hot lava will be an advantage to rock or fire Pokemon, but a harmful place to grass types. So keeping in mind the different types of Pokemon will give you an edge. As any Pokemon game, battles are turn-based and strategy is key to victory.

Furthermore, what better way to prove you are the best than to rule over your friends' Warlords and Pokemon? The game will be featuring local wireless two-player battles. No Download Play will be available obviously as each DS or 3DS owner will need his/her own team.
All I know is this: Get ready to do some serious battling starting June 18th 2012.
